History and Business Philosophy

Communication Innovators was founded in 1987 with the paramount goal of providing outstanding levels of service to our structured cable customers.  Leveraging nearly three decades of experience with AT&T, our founder, Stan Glawe, has built a solid business by treating each customer as they would expect to be treated and by applying significant project management and technical expertise to their specific projects.  This approach has resulted in a loyal customer base that looks to Communication Innovators to address their most difficult projects as well as their ongoing daily needs. 

Through the years, Communication Innovators has expanded our offering to become a full service communications company by adding small business telephone and data network solutions to our portfolio. With industry trends pointing toward the convergence of traditional phone and data systems, these investments have uniquely positioned Communication Innovators to address the technology demands of Iowa’s small and medium sized business community.

In 2004, we further positioned ourselves for growth, and even higher levels of customer service, by hiring a General Manager and reorganizing into four business units. In doing so, Communication Innovators has brought the necessary expertise to bear to both address complex single application projects and seamlessly integrate technology solutions at the enterprise level. Simply stated, Communication Innovators is one of those rare companies who understands technology, understands how to apply it to enhance their customer’s operations and understands how to treat people with respect and fairness in their daily transactions.
